Air Jordan 13 Retro "Wings"

The Air Jordan 13 Retro "Wings" is built to be taken apart. Released August 6, 2026 through SNKRS at $215 retail under style code IX1872-001, it is Jordan Brand's entry for the Wings program, the brand's long-running scholarship and mentorship initiative. The hook is the upper. The 13's usual quilted side panels are replaced with black denim twill covered in distressed X-shaped cross-stitching, and that denim is meant to wear away. Small rips sit where the AJ13's signature dots normally go, acting as the entry point. As the panel fades, tears and eventually comes off entirely, a colorful graphic underneath is revealed, documenting the history of the Wings program. Every pair ages differently. Smooth black leather still caps the toe and mudguard. A black metal Jumpman sits on the tongue with Wings branding along the eyestay. The insole carries a multicolor graphic of Rubik's cubes, pencils, hopscotch squares and encouraging words, all nodding to the school-age kids the program serves.
